Alternatively, you can also use a USB charger. Just plug it in and charge away.

On new tablets, one of the simplest methods to repair a damaged charging port is to use a screwdriver to fix it. The first thing you need to do is open the tablet up and remove all cables/connections.

Next, take out the motherboard from the tablet. Then take a small screwdriver and look for an empty slot on the port connection. Insert your screwdriver into the empty slot and apply some pressure onto it as if you were trying to fix loose screws.

If you don’t have a spare battery, you can try this with your tablet instead of the laptop method above. As long as your tablet comes with removable batteries, you should be able to use an external charger.

This method can be used by tablets that charge via USB cable. Simply plug in your tablet with a compatible USB port and turn on your external battery charger. When the devices are connected this way, the battery’s energy source will be used to power the tablet instead. The only assumption here is that your tablet has a removable battery (but most of them do these days)
